About Sweet Creed

Sweet Creed is about believing that the experimenting tongue is the best kind of tongue; if you wonder how your favourite fruit will taste in a cupcake then I would love to take charge of that experiment for you. Though chances are, that experiment has already been conducted with scrumptious results (Think apple cupcakes with caramel frosting, carrot cake with nut cream cheese frosting, banana & coconut sweet breads with lime glaze, could really go on but this is getting me hungry now).

Sweet Creed is also about believing that having a sweet tooth is definitely not a sin. I believe in eating my cake and having the frosting. Frosting in my book is light, airy and subtly sweet; complimenting the flavour of the actual cake. It definitely shouldn’t be the same texture as dry wall and/or taste like packed sugar.

Finally, Sweet Creed is about healthy alternative ingredients; finding and using healthier fats/flours and natural sugars as much as possible to make treats that are often even more delicious than the traditional. And I love telling you all about these healthy finds as well so you know exactly what’s in that cookie and make your own if you feel so inclined (definitely always happy to take care of your baking needs though ;) it’s my job after all).
